What might happen if we put people, planet and the common good at the heart of economic life instead?

On Earth Day 2026, the Economy of Francesco UK Hub joined people from faith communities, academia, civil society and local initiatives at Queen’s University Belfast to explore these questions. 

The result is a new report,

“An Economy of Enough in a Time of Crisis and Opportunity”.

The report will be launched on Thursday 24 September, 7.30pm, in the Windsor Hub, Lisburn Road, Belfast.

The message is hopeful and practical: we are not starting from scratch. Solutions already exist. We need to connect them, support them and create the conditions for them to grow.
